That's a great way to control the angle of the cuts precisely @ 3:05, I've seen it done with hand drills to angle the drill bit but never with a saw. PS that band saw looks like it could use a new blade or some sharpening, it didn't cut through the wood it burned it's way through lol, hopefully your patreon can help fix that for you. The halos around the spots are correct,and look good!Especially noticeable on the head area,and alittle on the body area..It would painstakenly take me forever to get one painted though!😄Awesome work,and an awesome craft!!Your Longear Lure really looks awesome!I've had to really fight when painting those Longears!

I have watched all of your videos, it inspired me to start making lures of my own . I’m at college and don’t have many things but I go home and use every tool I have there. I have 3 lures now and people have offered me 100 bucks a piece for them. They ask me where I did it and how I’m so talented but I just tell them I mimic what you do on the KZbin channel. @marlingbaits idk if you have tried this, but I noticed you use mixed epoxy and filler to fill your lead holes. This has worked for me, however I have found plumbers putty to be much more efficient than that or woodfiller. It dries in like 20 minutes and is somewhat carveable. It's cheap too. Possibly something to play with
