It's only because he visibly CONFUSED the AI while making the scripts with the random specifications that didn't make sense. You SHOULD get the the BASE of the script from the AI and THEN have it add all the features. It really helps.

It could help upcoming game devs get a footing in different mechanics written in code. It would be a lot less tedious than watching yt tutorials.

@@cederickforsberg5840 well I certainly have. By telling gpt to generate a code for something, i can try it and then find where there might be a problem. Not only that, but if I try something and it doesn’t work, I can find the problem, and try fix it myself or give gpt the correct input to fix the code for me. It sure isn’t the most efficient way to learn, sure, but it can be a good alternative for people that might not want to spend hours watching tutorials, instead they will use their initiative to learn what goes where and how the language works. It’s worked for me and it can work for other. I don’t have a huge knowledge on c#, but I’m able to see where certain functions etc go.

i spent a day making an AI generated video game. I used Python and Pygame it was an IDLE game with multiple levels and new enemies every level. gold was required to unlock the next levels. gold req for levels would double, enemies health would double evvery level, also generated all my sprites with dalle E. with pygame i could ask it to draw my trees, draw my enemies, i had 3 levels with AI generated Medieval backgrounds that would load from a file directory. enemies had Unique IDs so i could modify singular enemies to my liking. my next plan is to expand the inventory system i have, and make it so enemies now drop items with unique ID's which give different bonus's and if you do all this with backups and remeber your versions and lable your changes almost all of this is possible if you create the function first. all day just typeing updates "can you make it so enemy id 10 shakes slightly when hes clicked" ofcourse it can so it spits my code back at me and it would tell me how to do it but i would just say "can you add that into my code" and bam i was stuck for hours making a game with no skill.

I have been messing with it, and because I don't know enough about designing games, I cant get it to do much, but I got it to make a pretty nice looking red loading screen for a game, it actually got exactly what I wanted. But you have to be extremely specific. And for me, I could only get it to write about 70 lines of code at a time. So I told it this. and it gave me almost exactly what I wanted. : I need the code for a loading screen that has Real Dream Games in the center. This loading screen needs to have a flashing red to black background. when you click on the screen, it needs to go to a start menu, with press to start blinking in the bottom center of the screen. After you press start, it loads into a menu screen that has 3 selections in the center of the screen that say, New game, Load game, and Settings. When you click new game, it loads to a blank screen, and has a back button in the top left hand corner. When you click load game, it loads to a blank screen, and has a back button in the top left hand corner. When you click settings, it loads to a blank screen, and has a back button in the top left hand corner.
