I really like the design for the saw stop. Thanks! But you know what's weird to me? I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my saw stop only seems to have a range of about 0-2" and there was no mention in the video of positioning the track. (Maybe I should have assumed that I'd need to move mine to suit my Delta table saw's characteristics? Dunno...)

I'm confused about the calibration part of the video. The stop should register against the sled after it has been sawed because the cut is nearest the sled and not on the other side as you show. Maybe I'm wrong but it seems more logical to me as a new woodworker

No, the stop should be like I showed in the video. You set the stop to what size you want. The sled rides up against the blade. The piece you are cutting off is on the side of the stop. In the video I did not move it back away from the blade like it should be, For example, if I want to cut several one inch blocks. I set the stop to one inch from the blade. Then move the stop back away from the blade so when I do make a cut with the sled it will not bind in between the stop and blade while cutting. The stop is out of the way of the blade when I slide the piece of wood in the sled to the stop. Then push the piece of wood up to make the cut and it will move away freely and not jamb or kick back. I should have made a few cuts to demonstrate this. Hope this helps.

I totally agree with your comment...If you build something like this you should be talking especially if you put in there to mark the bottom at 5 1/2 and you mark it at 5 1/4.
