I love these. Just want to let you know, if you don’t already, the nice lady at Hobble creek Pottery has taken your suggestion to heart regarding the wall hung fish. She gives you full credit and encourages others to make fish as well.

So beautiful. I love the way you teach. Straight, direct and to the point and you don't add unnecessary filler words which tend to delay next steps.

Thank you for sharing your modelling techniques - I especially appreciate this as it's my main interest in clay. You are an amazing teacher and inspire me both in my own work in clay and in my practice facilitating inclusion workshops in pottery. I always look forward to seeing your videos so informative.

Vaughn-- I had to chuckle! You lament about 12+ hours to leather, while here in Florida my concern is precisely the opposite... I can throw at 8:00am, flip at 10:00 and trim by 1:00pm. If I'm not paying attention, I'm misting to rehydrate! Even if I bring my pieces inside, the AC dries them just as quickly! --Pam Ross

This week I threw on Friday and it is Monday night , still not leather hard, so sticky and humid with the hurricane sending moisture north.

Love the whales & swirling chattering. Great techniques all around. The flowers are beautiful too; how do you have the time to keep gardens and make all that pottery! It's all so peaceful. Thanks!

All your rain really agrees with your fantastic lilies! You have had as many rainy days as we have had scorching ones! I am wondering about drying the whales, as they are quite thick. Does it take a long time till you are confident they have dried thoroughly? They are so beautifully shaped.

Thanks Susan.I let them dry until they are leather hard and then carefully remove the paper, that stops warping. They are usually dry in three or four days.

Beautifully, gracefully done, Vaughn. I surely would like to come watch you in person, but youtube I guess is the closest I'll get I suppose. Nova Scotia, are people from there mostly Irish or Scottish?
