Lovely stuff. Short and sweet, like a ....short sweet... thing.

Going with the aluminum was a solid call.

Thanks, I'm really pleased with how it turned out. I might give brass a go at some point too.

James, you’ve got me rethinking my bandsaw insert. I was going to model and 3D print in plastic, but I really like the al-u-min-i-um version that you made. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks, let me know if you can't find any in the US and I'll send you some over!!

That's going to last quite a while. the insert for your machine looks more sturdy than my whole bandsaw!
@MaltandMake4 жыл бұрын
Haha! Well part of me wants it to wear out so I can try making it again... or maybe I should just make one preemptively.

That bandsaw it a beautiful beast 🤩

It really is! I've got a video in the works about how I got it to run on single phase.

Definitely time for me to do this again. Much like your old one, my current zero clearance insert is... well more like a 2.73 clearance insert. Nice build!

Editing this I thought I need to do this for my other bandsaws too... it's amazing how long you can get by with something rather than fixing it!

Uuuhhhh, filthy, you made its replacement with it in... 😋 Jokes aside, exactly how you described it man: quick to watch, but not a bit less pleasant! Awesome visual capture 👌🏼

Why did you do it that way? What is the difference between a duck?
@MaltandMake4 жыл бұрын
Because that's the way it's done! The difference is a water fowl or halfway to a fall.
