We made some big alterations to our narrowboat cafe, to our life, and to our trousers.

I do love a good tailoring job. So satisfying. The whales are great. Sorry you have had too many colds. It's been snowing here for 24 hours - long drawn out storm + climate change. Whatever you decide and wherever you end up it will be the right choice for YOU. I wish you well but if you do move back on the boat remember to be ruthless about what you NEED to have around you as against what you WANT to have around you. Children are incredibly adaptable and as long as they are fed, warm and feel loved they are happy; it's usually parents who think they need so much 'stuff'! Stay safe, stay healthy, stay happy. xxx

Why confused? People's lives and circumstances change and they move home or even country because they believe it's necessary under the new circumstances. And then they realise they miss their old lives more than they enjoy their new lives - so move back. It happens all the time.

Here is an idea.. Buy a home in the area you love. Spend spring to fall on the boats. Have your house earn its keep by making it an air bnb, while you are on the boats. Save the air bnb money.. Then for the winter time you enjoy your own house& take a break, come up with new recipes (maybe an Xmas recipe book next?), travel, have fun etc.. all financed via the air bnb money. Obv the rest of the time (spring through fall) Holly & KZbin has to make enough money to live of off while living on the boats. At least think on it. That way you could have the best of both worlds. Plus when lil William is ready to start school, its no prob. You guys also will have an address year round. Plus the office, maybe even the boats & potentially part of your home (besides the office) is maybe a tax deduction. As you film in the home (check with a tax guy). Anyways, just some ideas to help you guys find what is right for you. Think on it & I cant wait to hear what adventures your lil amazing family is going to do next. Whatever it is, great people will always do great things! Good luck with the move, etc P.S. that was a scary amount of water..
