Thank you for showing this video. Your explanations, made so much more sense to me, than what I have seen in other videos. Thank you for taking the time. Beautiful work.

Wonderful work! It looks lovely. :) As to embroidery, I'm not a specialist, but after zooming I think it's just a stem stitch but done with a thicker thread than in some other places, that's why it looks like it's couching. Eg. in the front part under that lattice section it seems like the thread of the embroidery of the simple lines and swirly bits is at least twice the thickness of the thread in that lattice part. But it's kinda just guessing, might be some optical illusion from the very zoomed photo. :D

You are the first person i have seen who didnt recomend nor sew the rows of stiches for the chennels starting from the same side like others. When others have stated this would eliminate wrinkels in the fabric. I leanred to quilt before learning garments and in quilting it is said to go back and forth as u did. This is to eliminate the chance of wrinkles. As your corset has shown the second method works the best. I had been confused by others but seen the wrinkles in the rows of stiching. I hope others see and realize that starting from the same end each time doesnt inprove the chances of less wrinkels in the fabric. I hope i was abel to express that well enough to be understood

That looks so lovely so far! I admire your patience and love for details. How will the cording go in, pulled through with a needle?
@clairezhangyx

I’ll explain that in the next video :) but yes with a needle

You don't have the patience, gracious then the rest of us are doomed. Will you at some point continue with historical Chinese dress. Or how Chinese dress was adapted to suit living in the US or Europe?
