Having grown up watching tons of 80s movies, I could totally see this song playing as the lead character drives down PCH in a convertible after walking out of his dads law firm to go follow his dream of being the worlds greatest potato artist or some shit. Bonus points if the convertible is a ‘66 mustang that his parents forbade him to drive but he can’t let go of it because it’s the car Cindy taught him the intricacies of potato art in before she died.

i remember in the beginning of 2022 , i was really depressed and at my lowest , i’d go out everyday because i hated being home . i would go to the beach and walk while listening to your music , specifically odessa and good morning where my go to’s because they gave me a feeling of hope as i’d stare at the waves . it’s safe to say your music saved my life then . this song gives me that same hopeful feeling . i don’t go on those walks anymore as i no longer feel like i did but i do miss them , when/if this comes out , i promise i will go on them again , but this time while i’m in a much better place than i was in 2022. thank you yvette .

I drove third shift during the late 1980s, and you know when you cross from one radio station's area in to another's and you just catch a snippet of a song before the radio station fades away? I swear I heard this song way back then and I've been searching for it for 40 years or so. Thank you for scratching this itch of mine and I hope you record a version for your next record.
