@@bunglebenjoyer It’s a little unclear what happened. I’d post a link directly but YT won’t allow that. So I’d say google “Covet’s Yvette Young Breaks Free” to find an article on Premier Guitar that intimates some of what was going on. I don’t want to push more gossip that has been on forums because these are real, normal people, and what we say matters. But yeah, it sounded like a bad situation for Yvette.

I randomly clicked a Guitar World headline that “sounds” interesting to me, with regard to an artist of whom I’ve never even heard. “Everything is about, ‘I want this to be stuck in your head. I want you to sing this later.’ I want people to hear my guitar tone and be confused about how I got it. It's a lot of sonic exploration.” - Yvette Young (via Guitar World) I really stopped seeking out new music many years ago, finding myself inundated in what I now personally perceive as a very time-intensive hobby, in the endless exploration of music, from which I find there are far too often fewer and fewer rewards to be reaped, as I tirelessly sift through an endless and ever-growing sonic library giving too much garbage the time of day LOL. I have thus far listened to just a few minutes, but I love it. She has surely acquired, as she will continue to amass many, upon many more guitarist (and guitar enthusiasts - hey, they’re out there, many of whom are middle-aged blues enthusiasts) fans. We live in a world so full of trash music, with no direction, no purpose, shameless copycatting, vocals-focused, WAY over-produced and is therefore difficult to emulate live and at times impossible. It has become a rarity to encounter such raw talent, capable of prowess of performance and composition, both.
