In this video I celebrate 10K subscribers by spending some time talking about how I started making dioramas and the reasons why as I build a new one. It’s an abandoned hallway with a collapsed ceiling with vines and grass beginning to grow. Thank you for the support this far!

I will be first in line for the Coffee Table book! I think that is the perfect way to get your art into peoples homes that appreciate each scene and still stay true to your vision for the pieces. If your focus is on the lighting and photography of the pieces, the book will be able to capture that so well! Great idea to sell your 3D mini models as well.. so many people are starting to get 3D printers as they are becoming a bit more affordable. Loved this scene and how you build it with all the side doors! Great video as always!

Hi Mr. Abandoned! : ) What cool and beautiful work you do. Should you start a Patreon? Absolutely. One on my Patreons sent me a link to your channel saying that I had to check out your creations. I'm glad that she did. We have channels that are nearly at the same level of subscribers and we also share a film production background. My viewers urged me to start up a Patreon two months ago and it is going very well so far, so it's something for you to think about. Now, my channel is silly and whimsical and very different than yours, but overall the KZbin journey I am sure is similar. Anyway, I'm rambling. I love your work, I'd be happy to share any of the little bit of knowledge that I have about Patreon with you - another bigger creator has been helping me steer though some of this KZbin/Patreon landscape and that has been invaluable to me. Cheers! ~T-Nu

There´s no question that you are highly skilled at filming and taking photos, but you are hella skilled at creating these pieces of art too! I would love to have rooms like these on display in my home, I´m into creating miniatures myself (in much smaller scale than you are working with though, which is kinda harder to appreciate as a display piece, your work is perfect for that) It´s hard to believe that you´ve only done these miniatures for 2 yrs, you are a natural in this art form :) 💜 and again, I am SO SO happy that I found your channel, I LOVE to see your process as much as the finished result :) Congrats on 10k :) well deserved! 💜 :) One question, do you save all your work (besides the one you smashed in the rain) or do they get destroyed after you´re done with them? Personally, I think these deserve to be shown off as the amazing pieces of art they are, if you ever decide to start selling them, you have at least one buyer here :) sure, I could try to create something similar myself, but it would never be as good as yours, and it would not be an original! I really do hope that you would consider selling them (if you´re not too attached to them) even if the outside of them are "raw" (simple solution is to just paint the outside black, or just leave them as is, if you put them in a shelf, the sides won´t be seen anyways) And yeah, I would love to have several of your pieces and fill up a bookshelf with them! then I just have to look at them to get inspired when I´m having a hard time figuring out what to create :D Thank you for sharing, both the beautiful art and your story about how you got started :) 💜

Sept. 28, 2021-----Think your work is awesome and just the thing I want to do, but in 1/35 scale as I've gotten back into modeling, but going for zombie/apocalypse dioramas. Which is also why I got a 3D resin printer and a few thousand files to print stuff that's not available as kits.

I've been subbed for about two months now and was introduced to your channel by Bentley House Minis. I've been enjoying all of your videos. It's really cool how you make them all seem so life like. It almost transports you there. Like you could almost smell the dampness and feel the crunch of rumble beneath your shoes. I really enjoyed the one you had built where you added the element of rain. It was so awesome but then I was saddened to see it smashed, but I get that it was already ruined from the water. Anyways all of them are magnificent. Congratulations on 10K subscribers. Here's to seeing you reach 100K and more. 🍻

Thanks you for sharing. To use my words, you give us an authentic experience from your dioramas. I feel like I could have been present when you do your “glamour” scenes, like I’m there. Your love for your work, and the passion you show is an inspiration to me and my artistic efforts. Fun idea to think about for 100k or something. You could make an abandoned mall on a coffee table (I’m thinking like 2x2) with a clear top, so it looks like your flying over head and looking in. Love your work and can’t wait to see what else to bring a life and history to.

the work you put in these... just wow, I've always casually watched miniature diorama videos, but like... now you make me really engaged in the work and detail that goes into it, especially with your cinematics. you should make a house that looks like it was abandoned suddenly, like... chairs, tables, clothes on the floor, and stuff like that, like the owners were running from some one, like a criminal hide out or something i think that would be a slightly different tone for you.

I managed to miss this video when it first came out. I now get that your dioramas are miniature cinematic sets. @Lili Design also makes room dioramas for her stop-motion animations with removable panels. She made a great one of a church before & after being abandoned.
