I really enjoy your videos & learn a lot. Keep up the good work. I'm looking for a Myford lathe for the last few months and watching people using them is a joy. Greetings from Greece.

+Nick Prionas Hi Nick, Thanks I hope to put some more videos on soon. I've only had the Myford for a few months. They are excellent machines. This one was made in 1947 and has recently been restored. I also have an Amadeal 7 x 14 mini lathe. I bought it new but had to do some upgrading to make it perform better.

HI Steve, I managed to get the collets bearings etc from Bang good. However your link for the MT2 soft blank arbor, won't ship to Australia. I have searched e-bay etc but no luck, do you have any other supplier suggestions?
@SteveJordan7 жыл бұрын
Hi Graham if you are unable to find one on Ebay you can use an old MT2 tapered shank drill for this backstop. Just cut or grind the drill end off and use the tapered end. They are not usually hardened and machine easily. I have used several of them for other tools in the past. If they were hardened I would have heated them up red hot and let to cool slowly to anneal them

Hi Steve, love your videos. Can you tell me where you got the MT2 Soft Arbor please? I looked on Bang Good but couldn't find it.

Hi Graham...You get them on Ebay from Chronos this link is for one or if you need more they do five of them for a cheaper price. I have some more videos coming soon where these are made into other useful tools for the lathe.
