IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're using a trial of Cinema 4D to make this, use the latest 2023 version. Don't use the versions 2024+ because somehow the template gets broken in the 2024 version. Also, if you want to make this type of text but don't need it animated, here's an even simpler way of doing it! This is actually great. One thing I can also suggest about Blockbench is that you can actually export the model into OBJ file. That however comes with the caveat that you'll have to figure the camera placement out yourself, which might be time consuming (because OBJ file doesn't actually support camera placement). However you can always render it from Blockbench and use that render as a base for the camera setup, in let's say Blender. And from there, it's relatively easy to continue. Blender actually comes with a tool that can figure the camera placement for you, and all you have to do is to provide it a base picture and draw the perspective from it.

Do you have to pay for like Matrix, Sketch Style, Sketch and Toon, Voronoi Fracture, Voronoi Fracture Tag plugins? As if we want to open your file that you provide in the description, it says I'm missing those plugins

You can but you'll need to manually do it. Add a plane and apply the texture to it, add segments depending on the resolution of the texture and continue what the tutorial does! Basically extrude and apply the color for the sides and you should be able to apply the effects!

Usually for png sequences, you import it to an editing software like Premiere (so there's transparency and no compression) But if you want to export straight to video, in Picture Viewer (after you rendered it), go to File > Save As and set the Type to Animation, Format to QuickTime Movie and change the Options > Compression Type to H.264. You'll need to install QuickTime first though to get that "QuickTime Movie" option

when i am updating the sub text's text in Photoshop it gets blurred, pls help i have correct fonts and everything the problem is when i click save even without updating anything it gets blurred in main file

Where is it getting blurred, Photoshop or Cinema 4D? If it's getting blurred in Photoshop, make sure you're using the provided text layer, and that the text layer settings at the top, on the right side of font size, the "aa" icon setting should be set to None. If it's getting blurred in Cinema 4D, make sure in the Material color, the Texture sampling is set to None instead of MIP.

is it possible to lets say "import" textures from the blockbench text generator? like, I have a minecraft blockbench text but I really want to see that logo animated but I dont know how to apply the textures from blockbench to your template

Hmm unfortunately I made this tutorial before the blockbench text generator was released, so I wasn't prepared to make it compatible You could edit the texture from the text generator and manually spell out the words with the same canvas size as the psd file I included. Besides that, I think you can export the blockbench text as fbx, and put it inside the Voronoi effect and it would still work. I haven't tested it myself though so if you did try, do let us know as well haha

@@HeyItsAnjello Update, I did it, its just a matter of changing textures with blockbench screenshot feature and camera angles, only downside is that the camera angle from blockbench and the camera from c4d are not 1:1 same but it does the work and yeah, thank you for the template ^^

I wanted to use different font, but have some problems with polygons, it doesn't fit, and I can't correctly delete the black parts from texture, how I can increase polygons to make this?

@@itschiz instead of using the provided object where you extrude the pixels, you can make your own plane with your own segment count (based on the canvas resolution on photoshop) and it should work But for the bottom part of the text, you need to bend it into an L shape like in the template

@@itschiz It means that there are holes in the object, you need to do the steps in 6:27 to prevent the holes in the object and merge the objects together If you're still having issues, yeah feel free to message me on discord: @HeyItsAnjello

Hey, already did the entire animation, just wanted to know if u had any idea of what sound i could use in the backround while the blocks are placing, already saw the official minecraft animation and what they used but i cant find teh same sound without music playing

I highly recommend you use png sequence instead though when it comes to transparent background... Most editing software should support that.

Hi, I have a problem when I drag the sides texture to the bottom text it makes all the text black except the top. I really don't know how to do it, I've been trying for more than two hours. Could you help me? Sorry for disturbing

Hmm, make sure you drag the material to where the selected polygons is... If you drag it to the polygon where the top part is or somewhere else, c4d gets confused and assumes you meant to apply it to everything. I'm guessing you're dragging the material to where the top part is, try dragging it to the side where a polygon is clearly selected.
