Making an Art Journal Out of a Magazine or Catalog

I love this whole project Martha! What a great use for those scrapbooking papers that we don't particularly like, as well as those magazines that don't have images that we like either.

Just a thought, if you don't fold the back cover until the end of the gluing process, you could adjust the width of the back cover.

@@SEWalke that’s a good idea to try. Very often the things I make are not straight or perfect and I’m OK with it😊

I like this project.! Very attracted to the whole concept and the colors! So what's going on the inside.... just images or whatever you feel like putting on there?

Thanks for watching and I’m glad you like it! I will use this as an art journal. So I will probably gesso each page first and then add paints and other items to create an art journal page.

I dyed that cheesecloth quite a while ago, so I don’t remember, but I usually dye fabrics using either procion (from dharma trading co) or RIT dyes
