Making an Epoxy and Wood Clock

This is a fun project incorporating epoxy resin and wood. It's a great project for small wood scraps, like these live edge Claro Walnut chunks.
The video also includes a quick little table saw jig for cutting circles.

Take your finger and quickly rub some epoxy on the edge to make a wet edge before letting the flood coat run over. Not as much difference on the round over you have but helps the more 90 deg you are.

looks nice, is the epoxy rough on the planer blades? I did not know you could run epoxy through the planer.

Light passes and it’s not too bad. Would be better with a helical head. Chip out is definitely possible though.

This wood was from a local Marketplace find. However, I believe Cook Woods sells Claro online.
