Nice, cant wait to see how you set the render up for Karma. Also, you can flatten the sphere base @1:30 using one point wrangle with "if(@P.y < 0) @P.y = 0;" rather than having to set up a group at all.

Because I kinda suck at vex. I knew I could do an “if” function but I couldn’t remember the syntax. 😂

I really love this ball making. I once did a ice cream and did the balls kinda messy lol but this one looks pretty darn good!!

Thanks Rohan! Late on this one :) Im adding the variants to a flip sim but the variants cycle through instead of staying constant. any idea?
@rohandalvi8 ай бұрын
If the point numbers are not constant then the variants will also change. You could try attaching them to particle id.

turblance noise not working idk why, can u please help, after connecting it using add node nothing happens, pls help
@rohandalvi Жыл бұрын
Can you specify the time code in the video where I used turbulence noise so I’ll be able to figure out what’s going wrong.

Thursday. I’ll post the next video on Thursday

Why not applying a smooth picking up the flat surfaces of the sphere before doing the mask so the edges of the cream wouldn't be too sharp but kinda melted sligtly. Not sure if what I said makes sense XD
@rohandalvi Жыл бұрын
You can do selective smoothing using a vdb smooth and a volume based mask. But it’s a slightly longer process and I’m lazy 😅
@Helios.vfx. Жыл бұрын
@@rohandalvi Thanks mate, I just need to figfure out about the mask but the way you selected the geo can be used right? kind ok. I think I'm kinda bad with masks and painting but hey I'll have to figure it out this sunday. Even tho I didn't do it, I have to say I did really enjoy these series so far. I'd love to see more food stuff lol. I guess i'm hungry atm. Thanks Rohan!
@rohandalvi Жыл бұрын
@@Helios.vfx. You cant mask a vdb using standard geometry tools because its not geometry. So masking out the noise using slope or anything else on voxels will need other methods probably inside the volumeVOP or building geo masks and coverting those to voxels and using that to control noise. If you want you can pick up my VDB and noise series, That has some of those techniques.

@@rohandalvi I see why you didn't feel like doing it lmao. Got you, I'll buy it once i finish paying my credit card, don't want to max it out xD. Already saved up the link. Thanks again!

Hi, thank you for the great tutorial! Is there a way to visualize noise on the viewport as a CD like this example: kzbin.info/www/bejne/q3SxiHSVi6qEa6c
