I don't blame you, but this isn't a real boxer engine it's just an 180 degree v shaped engine. And yes there is an difference between these two types of engines. In the 180 degree v engine the opposing pistons are moving to both to the right at the same time and to the left at the same time. In an boxer engine the opposing pistons are moving to in and out simultaneously to counteract the inertia of the moving pistons. In the 180 degree v engine the inertia adds up instead of counteracting each other. So the boxer engine runs much smoother.
