Making and Cutting Sunflower Soap, Hanger Swirl

I hope you enjoy the making of this 2022 Autumn themed soap. We just visited a local farm and walked through the beautiful sunflowers, so inspiring! I'm trying a new oil and fragrance. Experimenting is what I love the most when making soap. Thank you for joining me in the adventure!

Soap Ingredients: coconut oil, palm oil, distilled water, sunflower oil, sodium hydroxide, olive oil, canola oil, coconut milk, fragrance oil, castor oil, Shea butter, grape seed oil, cosmetic minerals and mica, sea salt, titanium dioxide

Hi Karina ~ Thank you for watching my video and your lovely compliments. :) To answer your question, heat can affect the sugar beads depending on how hot gel phase gets. I've had their size reduce a little before. I made the mistake of spraying these with alcohol and the gold bled off a little. I'm sticking to pure white ones from now on, LOL! ione

Also saw that you have used the milk-in-oil method: may I ask you if the total water weight can be replaced by 70 % water and 30 % coconut milk ? The water amount should be a little greater than the lye amount so it dissolves properly. With that in mind, other ratios would work too. Have fun soaping! :) ione
