Making and Engraving a cutting board on the Glowforge

Is that set to a 1000/75 engrave? I always get so much char!

I oiled the board with the same oil and then I noticed an error in the lasering. Could I put the board back into the machine to laser one small line or would the oil cause a problem?

I don’t think that you would run into an issue because of the oil. It might be very difficult to line it up to engrave in the exact same spot again
