Love it - simple and what a great effect! I've got 3 questions... Why PlastiDip to seal it? Would paint do to seal the surface or is there anything else you could use? What sort of mix do you use on the rock at the end of the video - 1 part cement and 2 sand or is there less sand? I'm making a vertical concrete column in a form for the garden. Once in place I was going to paint it with a bondcoat of 4 parts Bondcrete, 1 part water and then add a quarter inch skim coat (with more Bondcrete) to press the "rock roller" into. Would a quarter inch skimcoat be ok? (Bondcrete is a PVA that's been used in Australia forever to make concrete adhere.) THANKS!!

Eric McCOLOUGH the plasticoat is more durable and lasts much longer with no chance of leaving flaking paint in the surface. The mix is 2 parts sand to 1 part cement (usually 3 parts sand to one part cement) and our Car-VZ admix. The key is the admix for all the strength and no cracks.

Man, can you show the before of the rock, the painting you did? The roller is cool, but the rock is bad-ass.
