Making Another Speaker Cabinet

Making your own guitar speaker cabinet can be fun and rewarding.
This project uses common materials to make a speaker cabinet for 4 10" speakers. Step-by-step, I will show you how to build the cabinet from scratch through to wiring the speakers in series, using just a jigsaw and a drill.
Of course, you can make your own cabinet using a combination of speakers, either of different brands or sizes, to sculp your own sound. In this case, the top row is open-back and the bottom row is closed-back so you have the flexibility of having even more sounds. Each row has its own dedicated jack input so speaker pairs may be used with more than one amplifier head if desired.
