So you've finished and sanded your toy, but for some reason it just still doesn't feel as "Factory smooth" as you thought you could get it? In this latest full length "tutorial" I go over my entire fixing, sanding and surfacing process. By the end of this process, I have a pretty much "Factory smooth" piece, regardless of how rough it was at the start!
I've also included a full written this description of my process down the bottom of the description - let me know your thoughts!

Hi everyone - I'm Facter (@facter on IG) and this is my latest tutorial on how I create my own designer toys for Irikanji Toys.
I've been doing graffiti and street art for 25 years, and have been making my own toys for about 5 years now in Melbourne, Australia. It's been an amazing journey so far. I still have so much to learn, but id like to share what I already know, and learn from everyone else - so please leave comments or suggestions, and constructive criticisms!

Full Smoothing Process Rundown
All of these stages are optional, it depends on the smoothness you want and the defects you are trying to fix.
use wet and dry sandpaper. Get from around 100 in as many grades as you can up to about 2000+
get a small bowl of water - you can dunk your sculpt as you sand ... Its waterproof (make sure you use wet and dry sandpaper). Start at whatever grade you think you need to. I usually start at 100 if it's really rough and get rid of blemishes and putty etc
Mr Surfacer is your main tool. You'll use a fair bit of it, if you want to be economical, get and airbrush and use the jar stuff, or there are other "primer and surfacers" out there that are cheaper (they just may not give quite as good a result, imho) - I'm often lazy so I often just get the spraycans.
[Removing major blemishes/mass]
Prime with Mr surfacer 500
Sand with 80-330 sandpaper to reveal where the Mr Surfacer has picked up blemishes and problems
Use either Mr Liquid Putty, apoxysculpt (or whatever is best for you) in any areas that appear to have holes, or fix any areas you need or additional sculpting with your apoxysculpt) etc
Continue to sand with course 80-300 any parts that need to be levelled or taken down, or mass removed.
[Continue to this step above until you've fixed blemishes and any defects]
