Yes! Make some! Be sure to freeze your milk and add the lye very slowly so you don't scorch the milk. I wish I had saved some of mine for my little Lady when she was new. She had horribly dry skin.

I love your channel and have been watching you for a long time! I made this soap on Friday and today is Monday so it has been in the mold for more than 48 hours. I live in Florida which is very humid. I am curing them in the most ventilated room I have. At the beginning they were sweating but I resolved that problem placing them near the air conditioning, covering them lightly with paper towels and placing beside them Damp rid moisture absorbent beads, but I am having another problem: 2 of the soaps unmolded perfectly and 4 of them have not harden enough to unmold? they have harden from the top but the bottom is smushy :( is this a because they have to cure some more time in the mold? I also have some ash but i will steam them after i can unmold them, my main concern is that they are not hardening :( it is my first time making hard soap. I didn't mix the lye and oils at 120 I mixed it when it was cooler, can that have caused the issue? thanks so much for all the tutorials you post i enjoy them a lot. Have a blessed week!

That's an awesome stamp! question: y is some soap considered baby soap? I'm new to soap making. shouldn't all soaps be safe to use? if it's not safe for a baby I don't think adults should really use it either:-(?

Breanda Crump baby skin is more sensitive than adults; a gentler soap and one with less fragrance is better for them.

She sprayed the top. Rubbing alcohol evaporates when exposed to air. There shouldn't be any problems.

Grace Yohe I have enough experience with alcohol to know better. It still leaves a residue behind. Which can dry skin out.

That's true! But there was no where near enough to make any sort of difference in the soap formula. Rubbing alcohol is meant to help break any surface bubbles and keep that surface clean. Once run under water, any possible leftover residue would surely be immediately washed off- which you should do with any new soap :)

I just love love love you!! Thank you so much for your time and for sharing SO much info in your videos!! Please, I want to share one of my fav recipes with you. You will LOVE it!! Boil a handful of rosemary in 3 cups of water, covered for about 10 min and turn off. Cool. and strain. Keep liquid in fridge and apply to your face 2 times a day, or more if desired. Will clear up your skin in a week! I promise!! I love you :-) and thank you!

Hi Duchess, I made this soap exactly as the recipe instructed and it was so ugly. One of my friends said "that is as ugly as a bar of homemade soap" which I think is something she heard in Kentucky. Did yours turn out to be pretty? Mine was a funky grey.
