As a luthier and guitarist I’ve seen a lot of builds in my time but this is something else. This has more akin to engineering than traditional builds. It’s absolutely brilliant. It’s modular design means you could customise it in so many different ways. Amazing.

Amazing build! The addition of a piezo under the body end of the fingerboard could enhance an upright tone. I accidentally discovered the benefit of placing a mic in front of a DI'd electric bass to blend in some string and finger noise.

完成を楽しみにしてました！製作中の各パーツの精度出し等、やはり手間暇かけているな～と思いましたし金属＆木材のルックスにヤラレちまいました（笑笑）最初ボディーがフレームなのでサスティーンとかどうなのかなー？と思ってましたがJAZZ演奏にも違和感なくフレットレスベースとしてカッチョいいONLY ONE BASSになりましたね。

ありがとうございます。 何人かの方に弾いていただいて感想も少し頂いたので、ありがたい限りです。 アルミのフレームはインパクトありますよね。でもデザイン優先で考えたわけではなくて、 木のボディフレームを支えるサブフレームなのですが、ただ繋げるだけだと美しくないので、 曲線の連続で削り出しました。 ボルトは最後まで頭の種類を悩みましたが、綺麗さも出ていい感じかなと思っています。 高価な楽器を作るのはじつは本意ではなくて、安い楽器を作りたいのです。 安いっていってもハンドメイドなのでベースとしては高価な部類になってしまうのですが・・・ 高価な部類の楽器を作らないと個人ルシアーは辛いのですが、でも普及させたいので、安くても美しく見えるように次のは作ろうと思います。目標これの半額！ 楽器の歴史は言い方を変えるとパクリの歴史なので・・・ パクられるほど良いものを作ったとパクられたら思うです。 かた、を作れたみたいな感じでしょうか。

Amazing idea for the pickup. Even though we can't hear how it sounds perfectly in the video, it sounds pretty damn good. Does the carbon fibre plate influence the sound a lot? In that case you could maybe have different back plates to change between to get different tones out of the instrument. The instrument as a whole reminds me a bit of the old Ampeg AEB/AUB-1 scroll basses, but this one sounds so much better.

Your opinion is correct. I too would like to apply Loctite. But I don't use it because of the risk of the inserts falling out. It's a tough call.
