When the Food Network and other cooking shows were on television beef carpaccio is a dish that caught me eye. I'd never considered eating a dish where beef is uncooked. But I really could imagine how good a quality cut of beef with the cheese, lemon and olive oil could be the Best thing I'd ever tasted. So I went to Paris and finally got to eat it and found it just as good as I thought it would be. I came home and found a recipe that I eat when I want to treat myself

Don’t worry Adam, I’m sure you can find a version of this recipe that uses beef colored chemical slices instead. I kid :)

Carpaccio was first made in Harry's bar in Venice in 1963 by Giuseppe Cipriani, hope that helps.

I do my carpaccio just like this but I stick it in the microwave for 2 min on high to really bring all of the ingredients together. Also so it’s not RAW!
