Yeap, that was the shit! Great Job. I am making one myself in the next few weeks. Gathering all my materials. Im salvaging. Im trying to build it professionally out of totally free materials. I have the rollers, motor and a few other things but waiting to get the metal by Gathering what I need from a few businesses who I used to work for. They give me their scrap metals from time to time when I ask. Usually its big enough for projects like this. If not I just weld it together. I just fixed my metal lathe by replacing my motor with a more powerful one. Higher RPM and more torque. Im excited after watching your video. It inspired me to hurry to get it accomplished.

Nice build! The Wheels on the end of all the belt Sanders I have seen are not flat across the surface. They have a slight shape of a football with it being larger in diameter in the center to help keep the belt tracking properly under heavy load. Does yours have any issue with the belt wandering side to side with flat Wheels?

Nobody's ever complained about their belt grinder being overpowered ;-) But I've had an underpowered unit that was endless frustration. More power is the way to go!
