20gal long is my min tank for them .. always keep it moist especially the substrate , i have 2 pairs myself im trying to breed.. most is wild farm raised also...

They need space for them to swim and need a lot of hiding places.

I agree, I keep a camera on his enclosure, and he rarely stays in the water. He is able to fully submerge himself in the water bowl. The enclosure has also grown in quite well. And he has hiding spots just about everywhere he can go.
