When I cook bacon, I first cut the package in half, making shorter strips that fit in the pan and sandwiches easier.

Just an FYI, you can cook a lot of bacon by baking it in the oven at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes by using a cookie sheet and put parchment paper between the layers. I've cooked 5 lbs at one time that way!

Eggplant contains a lot of water, for best results soak the eggplant slices in water with a lot of salt before frying.

Better method is to drizzle some salt on the slices and then dry them with a towel after a while.

Got to say never seen eggplant on a bacon burger before, but it does look very appetizing and delicious. Might half to try that one day. Enjoyed the video.
@zedudli4 ай бұрын
If you want to crisp the eggplants there’s no need to cook them longer, you have to dry them out. First of all cut thin slices, not too thin but a lot thinner than in this video. Season them abundantly with salt and leave them alone for 15 minutes. They will lose all their water (which also tastes bitter) by themselves if you leave them out for a couple of hours, but you can speed up the process by squeezing the water out after just 15. So, in a nutshell: cut thin slices, season, wait 15, squeeze water out, wash the salt away, pat them dry and fry them crisp, they’re freaking delicious 🙌🏻

Hey post if you haven’t tried this you have to. Put Italian dressing in a ziploc bag then put in your eggplant,cucumber,zucchini etc. let it soak for at least 2 hours preferably longer then fire up the grill or even just fry them in the skillet. A friend gifted me an air fryer about 2-1/2 years, and I think I've used it four or five times. I grew up cooking on the stove and in the oven (then later a microwave), and that's just more familiar to me.

i make a crazy delicious egg plant lasanga. I substitute the paste for egg plant. it's da bomb. its easy. instead of using pasta.... cut the eggplant long ways. base to stem, about 1/4 thick slices. once you got those slices...olive oil both side. salt and pepper. bake them 350 for 6min. flip. bake 6min. once you got you egg plabt ready, build your lasagna with it as if its the pasta. delicious
