Making Grilled Cheese

I do not encourage anyone to enter culverts, unclog anything, or enter flooded areas as it can easily become deadly without the proper training
I unclog drains for fun in my spare time (I have been trained in culvert inspections for years with private co.) and I am osha trained.
Exploring anything abandoned can be dangerous or deadly without experience. I don't encourage anyone to enter any abandoned structures. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal, and when possible I seek out permission from the owner or local police. I simply go to document its history before it's gone forever and I leave things the way I find them. I only take pictures and only leave footprints. I assume all the risks and responsibility before doing this. Please don't attempt to do this on your own. There could be nails, asbestos, falling concrete, soft floors, animals, or other hazards. Grilled cheese are the perfect bachelor food. I've put everything from minced onions to sour kraut to tomatoes w/ Italian seasoning on them. Oh, I also use a bit of bacon grease w/ the butter. Bon appetit!

Clean the pan with a slice of bread whilst it's hot. No need for washing. Followed by a dry tissue to rub the oil into the metal. No more Cleaning.

Two best methods for browning your bread is either mayo or bacon grease. Much better flavor than butter.

well I’d simply put bread then cheese and anything else I want in it and put the bread on top using a spatula and just flip it and press down on it firmly both bread put together giving the cheese the time to properly melt

use mineral oil on the outside of the stove. use it sparingly. a little goes a long way--but keep doing it once every 2 weeks for about 3 months afterward, just stop. after that, only clean the flue once a year

also, shortening can be used with cooking. so can lard. so can tallow. don't limit yourself to butter! look into other mediums!

when finishing the sandwich - instead of flipping and putting the cool side of the bread onto the other slice with the cheese on top -> . the first time you flip the bread - put one slice of cheese on the top ( hot ) side of each slice of the bread after flipping - this will warm the cheese more then when you are ready to flip the bread for the second time take the cheese off and flip the bread then put the cheese back on the hot part of the cheese that way you have the hot part of both slices of the bread on the cheese
