Making Blue Lotus Tea with Dried Flowers

Blue lotus makes a delicious relaxing tea. Blue lotus is considered to help strengthen the third eye and is known to potentially enhance lucid dreaming! Always do your research and talk with a healthcare practitioner before adding herbs or supplements to your diet.
Instructions:
You will need your favorite mug and tea strainer. We love using a Gaiwan like in the video to brew Blue Lotus but that is optional.
Steep 1-3 tsp or 1-3 flowers of flowers in 1-2 cups of hot water for 3-5 mins.
You can add honey or sugar for taste if you prefer.

The suggested use is to Steep 1-3 tsp of flowers or 1-3 flowers in 1-2 cups of hot water for 3-5 mins. The tea is a bit earthy and bitter so you can add your fav sweetener if you'd like. Dream Well!

Can we mix or soak blue lotus flower in other alcoholic beverages like whisky vodka rum or gin....? Or it's better or more effective with wine? Another question I had is can I do this with any wine like red, white or rose wine? Or red wine is best for this purpose? Also, how many spoons of crushed flower should I mix in a bottle of wine and for how many days minimum?

Yes, you can use any type, though wine is said to be more effective since it too has antioxidants. Since it has an earthy flavor it's best to use a sweet wine like port. 1/4-1/2-1oz of flowers per 1 bottle of wine. Put the dried flowers in a quart mason jar and pour over the wine. Let it sit for several days, give a good shake every day. Strain and enjoy! Great for 21+ adult date nights! Ill do a video on making the wine here shortly.

Yes it’s is sedating but also an aphrodisiac. It can effect psychic awareness and dream Awareness as well.

You can! Though the water extracts 90%+ of the constituents.

@@DreamCatcherBotanicals If you still see all that vibrant color on that flower then most of the constituents are still inside the flower petals. A good way to make sure is to eat one petal before and then after and compared to see if you can still taste the sweetness of the blue lotus afterwards, if so, you can extract more.
