Making Braiding Soap to condition leather lace for knots and braids

Making a batch of braiding soap for my own use and for a class that I will be teaching on turkshead knots at a leather guild show. braiding soap is essentially a creamy conditioner used to prepare lace for braiding and knot tying. It helps the leather strand conform to each other and pull tighter.
The 2024 IFOLG (international federation of leather guilds) show will be in St. Louis on October 8th through 12th. I will be teaching a turkshead knot class on Thursday the 10th. More information about mine and other classes can be found at gatewayleather...
