I call that "shaker" a shot glass 😅 Bubble Tea is obviously your favorite, I know! ❤ No I've never had it. I'm sure is good, if not too sweet (for me). Marc looks all shook up 😂 I love all the tea kettles adorned on the wall! That's a nice place. Eileen, your Shake Shake Shake reminded me of a good song on the dance floor, in the 70's 😊!! I know you were in your height of glory. Congrats on your "degrees" 😂 Cheers!❤

Hey Gina! Glad you liked the shake shake shake 😆 If you give bubble tea I try let me know what you think. Or take a photo and tag me on Instagram so I can see! What beautiful tea shops! I learned so much from this, which is great since I too love bubble tea. However, I’m coveting your tiny whisk and must get one immediately. Thanks for the fun video. 🙌🇹🇼
@EileenAldis11 ай бұрын
I'm so glad to hear that! Yes, the shops really are lovely. The original shop is the one at the end and the one at the beginning (where we do the course) is a newer, multi-level space that also has a restaurant. And the Chun Shui Tang brand has expanded beyond Taiwan now as well. I hope you will also find the joy that is using a tiny whisk! 🤓

I think a lot of people don't realize it was invented in Taiwan! Interesting it had some Japanese influence as well. The process of how to make bubble tea is indeed very interesting and I know I'll appreciate it even more now. You have to be so precise with the measurements to get it right every time. Mmm lychee is a great flavour! Good pick 😋🧋

Hey Scott! If you give bubble tea a try I'd love to hear what you think. They aren't all the same quality so hopefully you'd have good luck with your first experience! The brown sugar one is a good one to start with, I'd say. I usually get at least half sweet or less too as it can be quiiiite sweet otherwise. But, hey, sometimes that's ok too haha. And, yes, there's certainly a lot of shaking involved to get that foam on top. Definitely appreciate it more now :)

Hi! Glad you liked this bubble tea video :) Your favourite tea sounds delightful! Sorry to hear Covid affected its availability though. I also like to brew tea and have it hot or cold. Lately I'm loving Throat Coat tea. Do you know that one? I like it hot and it's nice and soothing on the throat.

Never heard of that use of slippery elm...just watched Garden Answer utube channel chop elms that were kind of sick to their high desert area. Neat to see maybe why tried there in first place. Read webmd and said best take other medicines an hour before slippery elm as bark helps coat throat. Increases mucus ...like what clownfish 🌅 use to live in sea anemone. Can see why nice against colds. 🍯🍵🐝

Awesome! I'm glad you loved hearing about the background and history too! I loved learning about it, especially since it's now known around the world.
