Amazing! gonna try this. Though I wonder if whisking all the way works too. Other videos just whisk till the end. I might try that first and see what happens lol. What's interesting about this is it looks very very spreadable! Just make it and use! Love it.
@JesicaH5 жыл бұрын
You probably 'can', however, the butter is a bit thick for the whisk to handle so I don't like to risk damaging my whisk by keeping it on.

Thanks so much. This is a great video. It takes a community to grow a child. JUST LEARNT THIS IS ETHIOPIAN BUTTER HAIR CREAM. LITTLE DID THEY KNOW IT IS USED IN EUROPE FOR BUTTER TO EAT. IN ETHIOPIA IT IS CALLED SHURUBA.

Hello, and thank you SO much for the video. You did a great job explaining the process. Easy to follow along. 🥰I have been wondering if I could use my emersion blender to make butter. I haven't tried because I wasn't looking forward to shaking a jar for hours. 😂 I have a question. When making salted butter, how much salt do you add to 1 cup of heavy whipping cream? Does the type of salt, Celtic, Himalayan, Kosher, or regular All American table salt matter when making it? Does the type change the flavor?

Is it possible to over-churn the butter? Will that whip it too much and make it frothy?

Do you have to use whipping cream??

Nice. Where did you get the mixing jar?

From be going to end how long did you have to churn it? I found this video very educational. Being a city girl you never really get educated on these things. Than you so much!
@JesicaH5 жыл бұрын
I don't recall exactly, but it is around 10 minutes from start to finish. You can also churn by just using a glass jar with a lid and shaking until the butter forms. That takes much longer, of course. :)

I’m confused. Do we add the spices(cinnamon,sugar,etc..) to the whipping Cream or After we’ve made the Butter?
@JesicaH2 жыл бұрын
You can do either, but usually it is to the butter.

@@JesicaH They might need an emulsifier or thickening agent, i've never tried it myself. Arrowroot or Tapioca flour (?). Coconut based products tend to taste oily and unpleasant. BTW there are affordable commercial immersion blender options too (150-250 bucks).
@JesicaHelgren4 жыл бұрын
@@Enonymouse_ I don't mind the taste of some coconut based products. Good idea on the thickener... I'm sure someone has tried it. This immersion blender is $100, so quite affordable IMO, and I still use it all the time!

If this is a commercial for that immersion blender just say so because I feel like most of this video was going over the features of your immersion blender and if you don’t have that kind of immersion blender and if you’re in the market for one… I just wanted to know how to make what are using a regular immersion blender.

Very cool 😎 I just bought an immersion blendr to make homemade mayo (because store bought stuff is full of junk and I have wasted far too much precious oil and WAY too many eggs 🥚 trying to make it by hand) So I was wondering what else I can make & found your vid here!🧈😀 Of course ! This is great, I once cooked for a Swiss chef - he had me make whipped cream 🍨 for desserts - BY HAND! Every nite, multiple times a shift - he explained that he wanted our guests to receive the most "authentic" cuisine possible, whatever that meant :/ It was a total b#! but he showed me it CAN be done. Nevertheless no matter how I tried I just couldn't ever make aioli by hand 🧤 like this. Okay, time for butter. Thank you 👍
