This is one i was waiting for. I tried a french onion soup recipe to can a couole weeks ago and it was just missing something...im going to have to try red wine instead of white! Glad i just made a small batch to test, and we will use it for gravies or roasts or meatballs, but it was just missing some zip as a soup. Maybe this is it! Thank you!😊

Hi Friend. My Bobby made the best French Onion Soup. One of his specialties. I don’t exactly know what his recipe was. I do know he used both Olive oil and butter to caramelize the onions. Your recipe sounds delicious. Thank you for sharing. Also your haircut is cute. Thanks for listening 🤓🤗🍁🦃

That soup looks really delicious and i believe you used a pressure canner and my grandmother used to water bath canning when she was alive. And it sucks that i didn´t learned that from her she was very good at it. Awesome video my friend thanks you for sharing.

Hey, Renea! I'm still recovering from pneumonia and sepsis, so today is shaping up to be a "catch up with Renea" day! I haven't been able to stay awake long enough to do much of anything in a few weeks, so I'm hoping to see what I've been missing today. I love french onion soup, but I have never attempted to make it. Now I'm anxious to try your recipe (soon as I get some energy back!) - it looks really great! BTB has new Better Than Gravy flavors...I was hoping to try the turkey flavor, but it's been sold out here. I'm not good at gravy (except for milk gravy), so I've got some ideas for this product! Did I hear you say onion broth? Sounds like another thing I need to look for on your channel...that would be so great in so many recipes! I can't believe I never heard of it or thought about it before now. Maybe I'm still more confused than I thought I was! Thank you for sharing your talents with us, for wonderful recipe ideas, and for being so entertaining and making me believe I can successfully do some of the things I never thought I should even try to accomplish. As always, I'm anxious to see what's next!
