I'm so honored to see my stamps in use! Your cards are beautiful and not at all ruined! Go back with your heat gun and hold it there until you see them shine. I often need to warm up the heat tool and hover slowly. You can't burn it so don't worry. I would also recommend a regular paintbrush in the inkpad instead of the rubber one for touch ups. No need for the pen. Works with Any inkpads. Hot tip (for us messy hand lovers) ... Use your finger in the gold paint for edging. It takes a fraction of the time while also being satisfying. I really enjoyed your video and that you included all the highs and lows. Now go warm up that heat tool and crack at it my friend. ❤❤❤❤

Great cards. Colors are wonderful and I really like the backside colors. My favorite colors anyway!! The gold with the blue is perfect. They were made with love so they are wonderful. Affirmation cards are the best. Nice work, truly. Thanks for sharing. ❤❤❤

Love the cards. They are beautiful. I remember being told off by a lady, taking the embossing class for wafting the heat gun. Was told I wasn't drying hair. Keep the heat gun in one place until the embossing powder melts. Then move the heat gun to the next spot and repeat until it is all shiny. Then give a waft over. The reason being embossing Powder needs heat to melt, wafting means it heats and cools, then heats and cools before the powder sets. I learned something new. 😅

Dear Kylie - the background colors are beautiful and look wonderful with the master-board backing. The stamps are beautiful…and the embossing results are lovely with a nod to perfectly imperfect. Love the sentiments! Until next time!💖🙏🎨

Kylie, this was such a cool project! The affirmation cards are lovely. The colors are right up my alley. I love blue and green together. The backs are lovely, too! I feel that the mistakes are not mistakes they are all part of the process. From my experience I usually heat my gun longer before I begin,I hold it further away, and above the powder longer. When you wonder if it has melted, run your finger over the area you questIon. If it is flaky, and powders come away from the image it has not been heated long enough. Add more powders to test area, and try again. I would not hesitate to share it with friends. You made it with love and it will be received with love. TFS 🙏🥰

I think they look awesome!! If we don’t experiment and try, we’ll never know. I’ve never had Thais issue with my embossing, but I’ve had other issues. You have many variables though. Like was it the powder, the paint, etc. Thanks for sharing and for letting us see all of the process. Have a lovely day. ❤😊

Thank you so much Kylie I really really enjoyed watching you create these cards. And I understand what you’re saying, I’m just the same. You’re a perfectionist, I’m just the same. But, they’re still pretty though. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤

Hi Kylie, thank you for sharing those beautiful cards, and also the mishaps! I understand your frustration. The powder was probably not heated long enough. It helps, to look over the embossing from the side, to see, if it is melted allover. I have realized, that after some time, even the most brilliant embossing turns dull, so you would probably have more satisfying results with the gold paint. Looking forward to your next project! Take care! Ps. Your hand seems much improved.

Hi Hen.... I was about to write my thoughts but see Cheran has said EXACTLY what I was about to say lol xxx I've found that when you apply embossing over heavy layers of acrylic it takes longer for the powder to heat up to turning shiny. Fixing mistakes - I bought a little bottle of the embossing pad re-inker and as Cheran says, use a little paint brush to touch up or even draw the liquid onto designs (which is super fun). The pens are rubbish in my eyes and don't last long. I think you did a great save and I love the cards and the Goddess stamps xxx

These are amazing and anyone would be blessed to receive a card like this! I think you didn't keep the heat on long enough for the embossing powder to melt... I used to have the same problem and was told to keep it on a bit longer and that did the trick! Thank you so much for sharing, these are gorgeous! Take care x

These cards are so lovely, not only the design but the sentiment attached to each. You held your heat tool quite close and I’m not sure that made a difference to how the powder melted. Frankly, I think it made them more interesting

I love these cards, they are beautiful. I watched your embossing process and you did not leave the heat gun on those areas long enough to melt the plastic embossing powder. All you needed to do was reheat them. Still, they are just fine even with the imperfections.

The colors you used are just delicious. I am not a fan od embossing tinsel. I would get results like your cards, and the texture was irritating my hands as I worked on my projects. I think that the reason that happens is because as the powders sit, the tinsel parts come to the surface. I would use that powder on Christmas cards, and would fix that problem by shaking up the powder the day before I planned too use it. That worked ok, but I don't ever plan things ahead of time except when doing those cards. I don't have asthma, but I didn't think that it would be wise to inhale embossing particles after shaking the bottle, All that to say, I ended up throwing out the tinsel powder because it was just something I couldn't get consistent results with and fussing with the powder took out the fun of using embossing powder.

I think you brushed away unmelted embossing powder when you brushed on the gloss gel. Lovely cards anyway
