My 6-year-old who adores you ran downstairs saw the soaps, completely forgot about his stocking he runs up the stairs and I asked him what he is doing. He yells I am taking a bath. He was in the bath for almost an hour.

My favorite method. ITP swirl w/o a once around with spatula, gives me a nice marbled affect is why. Plus pretty easy and fast. I love your colors on this one. Hope your New Years is everything you hope for. Cheers 👍🤗

I usually do the oats. I have horrible dry skin n my son also and for the first time in years my hands are beautiful with all the washing of them that I do. No point waisting my body butter that I make cause I wash my hands all the time. I love adding banana purée or pumpkin purée to my soap it’s wonderful. And I do either coconut milk or goat milk powder. I love it. So, thank u cause ur the reason I tried it and u are awesome! Lol

I have also been asked to share my soap recipes. As a soap maker myself for 12 years, sharing recipes is something I don’t take lightly. I have perfected my recipes but it took lots of trial and error, lots of expensive ingredients and not to mention lots of time. Hi Ellen, you seem to have an incredible knack for matching the music to the type of soap you’re making. I don’t know how to explain it, but this entire episode was incredibly relaxing. The soaps were beautiful as always. I saw a lot of characters on the bars when they were cut… An Angel, a seahorse, a boot, and an elephant! 😄 I do have a couple of questions if that’s okay… Do you separate your batter before it reaches emulsion? And also I saw in another video that you have a little bottle with titanium dioxide, but I couldn’t find a link to it in your description. Could you tell me where I can get one please? If you have strong blender like a vitamix, you can make your own. It just needs to be a super fine grind or else it will have an exfoliating feel in the soap,

No, the lye is based on the oils only. The sugar is just an extra additive.

Do you have a soaping temp you like? I get impatient and mix in the low 100’s, I think that might be making my trace speed up? Wanted to try a pot swirl and hanger swirl but I was working with pudding 🤣

It's such a nice fragrance! I use talcum powder on the outside of my silicone mold to help it unmold easier. It's a tip from the Workshop Heritage folks😉
