The things you see on the lye are called lye lints. And yes I get very nervous when I’m soaping . Beautiful work of yours!

Hi! My secret is to mix until I reach emulsion which means that your oils are combined with the lye water and there are no oil swirls on the top of your batter. I don't go for trace just emulsion, that's key for your batter to stay fluid ;)

Thank you! I was surprised. The 1 oz did very well. They still smell lovely and the fragrance hasn't morphed. I still need to let them cure for one more week tho

I'm wondering if you have a thyroid issue. It accelerates your heart, causes shaking, weight gain or weight loss. I refused the heart medicine and they found the underlying cause of ny issues. Sorry unrelated & unsolicited.

No worries! Thank you so much for trying to help 🙏🏼 I have been tested for thyroid issues and everything was ok. I’ve been tested for sooooo many things girl you have no idea! Even for autoimmune diseases and nothing shows up. I also have endometriosis and doctors think thats what is mainly is causing so many issues in my body.
