Making Doctor's Office Visits More Successful for Autistic Patients

Madison House Autism Foundation is privileged to sponsor this lecture given by Dr. Faith Frankel in March of 2015.
Dr. Frankel is a pediatrician with extensive experience interfacing with patients and families of patients on the Autism spectrum. The goal of her lecture is to bring together the worlds of doctors and parents in order to promote better quality healthcare for individuals on the spectrum.

I love the lecture, Dr. Frankel. You are neurotypical, but you seem to get it. Around 11 minutes 11 second in the video mentioned you safety considerations. Many of us cannot tell if the environment is too hot or too cold. I try to be a resource to those dealing with us on the spectrum.

I love this. This comforts me. I needed to see this before my gynecologist visit that made me totally and utterly meltdown afterward. Next time I’ll try to tell them what I need next time.
