Awesome video, I love how the game looks, and the idea of just reversing the opening animation for closing the door.

Once again lovely stuff you have going on. I like seeing some of the workflow behind game developments like these. 😁

I’m enjoying your videos! So you basically taught yourself to make games through KZbin? You seem to be quite knowledgeable about coding and blueprints, are there any particular channels or resources you used to teach yourself those things?

I need to figure out Blueprints, the stuff you can make in Unreal look amazing! Unfortunately, I think I'm more of a code-based person than a click-and-drag one (sorry if that's not what Blueprints are, just going off what I see right now). Anyways, definitely going to be following your game's devlog!

Thank you! I feel like it's quite similar but you have more freedom when writing your own code! For me blueprints are much easier to get the same result quickly than coding though, but it's probably because I am mostly self taught so am a bit slow hehe.

It's really funny I had a similar idea to create a game based on phasmophobia and fnaf in a multiplayer experience... except I am very new to game dev so the process is taking loads longer than it should. Also I have basically no free time that I wish to use productively. Game dev is awesome (im only slightly sarcastic)

Haha, yeah it takes up a lot of time, I also work full time so trying to squeeze in some development time whenever I can. Good luck with your game too, making a multiplayer game is quite a lot of work, especially as a new developer!

A bit over the top and dramatic. I assume that was intentional because this is like programming 101 kinda stuff. Either that or Unreal is just way more complicated than it should be (or maybe its the visual scripting system, not sure I write code and haven't tried visual scripting). Whatever the case best of luck with your game.

There is a much easier way to make doors than the way he did it ue4 and 5 are very easy to use and male simple things like doors
