This video shows the development of my upcoming game. Buried Horrors is a 1-4 player co-op survival horror game set at the peak of the archaeological era in the early 1900s. You and your team are set on finding the ancient treasures of the world before anyone else. Find clues, solve puzzles, avoid deadly traps and survive the horrors that lurk within.

i love this idea, one thing i really liked about another game that i don't see very often is the AI in Alien Isolation, and how the monster feels so, well somewhat realistic in movements and hunting you down, i would love to see something like that in your game, where the monsters really do feel alive. Along with that, you might add at least the elements of an ecosystem, such as maybe interacting or coming into contact with different monsters reveals more information on them, such as the snake like creature, what it eats, where in makes its home, and other information like that. Love your work so far, keep it up man

Those are some great ideas. I'm definitely aiming to create some interesting AI, not sure I'll be able to achieve AI that is as great as the ones in Alien Isolation though, but I'll do my best :D

Hey, just a thought but a feature that really added to the spook factor of Dead Space 3 were the personalized hallucinations in coop. I've never seen this replicated except for in some Lethal Company mods that only do an audio form of it. It would be so cool, like you'd actually question if you're losing it when your friends can't see some of the things that freak you out.

Definitely gonna need a snakebite kit, for the snakes, haha. I'm sure this would be a lot, and may not be how the game works, but if each player’s cart on the train could connect in multiplayer, so you could travel through them and show off/trade, that would be a pretty neat community space-although I'm sure a nightmare to integrate in hindsight. Really cool stuff here!

My man this looks great. Keep working on this game, altough you shouldn't rush it or stress yourself over it. I will definietly buy it! I think you should lower to FOV and have it be MAX 100 and default to 90 and maybe make the running speed slower. The game looks scary as hell but running around like in minecraft with quake fov takes a but away from the scaryness
