Making Flavorful Lumpiang Shanghai
800g minced pork
1 onion (minced)
1 garlic (minced)
1 carrot (minced)
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp ground black pepper
2 tbsp oyster sauce
3 tbsp cornflour
bunch of spring onions (sliced)
2 egg
lumpia wrapper
1. Mix all ingredients, adding (or reducing) cornflour to form a pasty texture.
2. Wrap a portion with the lumpia wrapper. Use cornstarch slurry to seal the wrapper.
3. In a deep pan with frying oil, cook the lumpia over low-to-medium heat about 4 minutes, turning frequently to evenly cook.
4. Drain well then serve while hot.
