I bought a whole roll a few years ago.. hanging in my garage.. need to put it to use.. just doesn't seem practical for change outs when I can make transitions one side at a time...

Lots of eyeballing. Invest in a flat ruler and some V notchers

scribing where to notch

@@FoodnHVAC @1:53 he begins cutting notches. @1:50 he doesn't appear to be marking locations for where to notch - he appears to be treating the whole length equally. i'm not sure of the meaning of scribing, but is that what he's doing at 1:50 or 1:53?

@@JonathonNeville he is. to make the notches point end at the same exact spot all corners. it's faster to just do that and get it over with.
