Dude I’ve actually been doing this exact same thing with csd and tps wads in 16 and 10 gauge for a while. I thought I was the only one to ever think of this. Even down to the shell template for the fins. That’s awesome.

I was just wonder about that. I stumbled across this guy by accident. I'm glad I did. Did you do any videos for that wad modification and test?

@@vdog4799 Yes it’s one of my early videos. I need to revisit it.

That is a brilliant idea to make the wads! How do they pattern? Can we see some 25 and 40 yard patterns? Thanks

Cut an appropriate size plastic drinking straw into short sections and slip one over the #57 primer. There...the primer will now fit snugly into your primer pocket. You're welcome.

You’re a genius thank I really appreciate it I have a bunch of old 57 primers I’ve been wanting to use thanks again

What are the sizes of the three cut outs in the hull you use to mark out the wad 'cuts'? Any range tests of these yet?
@maxxbear50142 жыл бұрын
They where about 5/16” wide X 9/16”high. I did shoot them and they grouped tighter than standard buckshot but I don’t have any of the factory loading‘s to compare them to.

@@maxxbear5014 Thanks for the FAST reply! I will ask a mate that I know who has some of the Federal ammo to loan me a pack of five so I can get more component data from them then reassemble them for him. Quite impossible to find here in England. I may experiment with the three slot positions too. Thanks again!

Maybe I should’ve said previous folds that have already deformed the paper and would be suited to be put back to their original folds
