Mandy your Crab Rangoons looked great for never having made them before! I’d use egg roll wrappers they are the same as the smaller wrappers but more to work with because they are larger so you could use the small scoop and still be able to wrap them up! Also if you used real crab next time use imitation crab meat taste the same but cost a lot less! Also you can use the imitation crab and imitation lobster -to make , My Crab or Lobster Rolls -to make chop up the meat and add mayo ( if you make the whole package of meat add between 1/4-1/2 cup of mayo or to taste), chopped , celery - 1 stalk chopped, 1-2 chopped green onion , white or black pepper 1/2-1 tsp , salt 1/4-1/2 tsp , mix well and chill for about 1 hr or longer to let flavors mingle ! Serve on a hot dog bun or a sub roll , lined with lettuce and a thin sliced tomato and dill pickle chips ! So delicious , if you try it anything from the lettuce , tomato, dill pickle chips are optional but I add them for crunch and the flavor they add ! These are made like I make my Tuna or Chicken salad so yummy!! I hope you like them !! God bless ❤️🙏🙋🏻🌈🌈

@@allthingsmandy I know you’ll love them and honestly the imitation crab and lobster are made from white fish and flavored with crab and lobster and cost about 1/4th as the real crab or lobster does! I discovered the imitation over 35 yrs ago when crab and lobster was still affordable and I started making them up like I do my Tuna and Chicken salad and and have been a hit in my family ever since !! I love your videos sweetie you do a great job ! Brooke from “Southern Frugal Momma” told us about your page a long time ago and I’ve been watch your page a lot but don’t often comment but I do give you the 👍 click on every time I watch !! I especially enjoy your family week long meals for a very low budget because they are creative but mostly because I feel there has to be many watching who needs your and Brooke’s help to get through some of their weeks !! God bless ❤️🙏🙋🏻🌈🌈

I made 45 fried dumplings and 40 crab rangoons just last night!!! I love both so much!!! Not a single one was left!!!😂❤ pS....i actually use the .99 imitation crab snackers from Walmart. I grind it up in my little mini food chopper!! I also put a little worcheshire sauce in it. The recipe i use calls for it but i don't use as much as it calls for..that sweet chili sauce is delicious!!! I dip my dumps in it!!

I'm not a fan of crab, but it was really cool to see ya make this dish! ☺ My husband loves these so maybe I'll make them for him one day. Maybe like a bday thing.

I was surprised at the cost effectiveness of this dish! I got 8 oz of crab for only $2.49! And I only used 1/2!
@frugallydelicious Жыл бұрын
@@allthingsmandy Wow! That is a great price. I would of thought the crab would have been 7 or 8 bucks at least! And you only used half so it would of made a double batch! Nice!

@@allthingsmandy lol. Yeah you did mention that a few times in the video. You made it entertaining! But honestly you made a dish that you had never tried or made before so there as probably a lot of anxiety there. I do the same thing when I'm filming but no one can see if cause I do the voice overs later. Lol. Great job! 😊🙃

White pepper and black pepper have the same health benefits. The production process is different. Using white pepper gives you the flavor without the heat or color.
@allthingsmandy Жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for the information! I wasn't quite sure the difference and wanted to read up on that!
@lindabader-acosta7808 Жыл бұрын
Black pepper is a lot stronger a little more heat. White pepper is the young version & processed differently. Kinda like the difference between white & green tea. The other spices we used a lot is 5 spice & anise. I learned that from my mom that you always need them stocked in an Asian household.

I'd be interested in seeing you make dishes based on the states in the US. I know 50 would be a lot though. If you're interested, my favorite dish is Gumbo and potato salad from Louisiana. I probably make it a bit different than the original but I've never had anyone say it wasn't absolutely delicious 😋

I'm from sw Louisiana & there are so many variations of Gumbo to make & so yummy. I've even made gumbo in my instant pot & did a video on it. Cooking is an expression & to me there is no right or wrong way to do it. And sharing it all is a wonderful thing.

anything crab--to save money, use shasimi, imitation crab meat ( a bit sugary, but is good and tasty--and less than 1/2 the price of crab)...dts/usa

good first attempt: may wish to use a little less filling per piece and they will stay together better--they are supposed to look like little drawstring purses--and are often flash fried in a deep fryer...they should be able to pop into your mouth in one bite...dts/usa
