Really I don't know how anyone could create a more realistic display , but it's unlikely that you have something else that is the next best way to have a slice of nature perfect for someone to display. That's exactly what brings me back hoping to see something that I can do , bring some stones to glue and hidden cords far from sight , making water fall from the highest heights that makes our display something that has a good sound and healthy plants , thanks again 🐜🦗

Local wilderness privilege is real. I've seen local plant keepers commit felonies for plants half as cool as that sheet-growing fern from the intro, and you can just collect that stuff like finding hypnum moss in your backyard. I will never be so lucky.

I'm curious, how much upkeep do the "trees" require? If unattended, will they grow and grow until they no longer resemble the work of art you made? Or are they low maintenance, pretty much "water and enjoy?"

Beautiful work! Quick question: In your design, why do you put the pump room on the right side and run the tubes to the left? Could it be directly below the stream opening?
@mugenwoong3 жыл бұрын
If you notice my pump on the right side and going up to the filter box , after filter process it end up at left side. If you get what I mean. I did split the water pipe into 2 because I want the maximum outflow water speed from the pump but with the small filter, it can't handle this water flow so I do half is going filter and half is direct with a controller. Actually is base on what outlook layout design we wanna make and follow by figure out how to fit the filter & pump without effect on the initial outlook ideas. You can use your own method as long it's can hide the pump + filter with easy access. Hope I didn't answer your question. Glad you drop a comment and feel free to share your ideas and feedback 😁
@marcow.88063 жыл бұрын
Thanks Mugen. I watched it again and kinda understood the challenge you had. I am just not sure what that filter box is for, and why it is better than running the pipes directly :( Can you explain that to me? I also paid attention to how to maintain or replace the pump if it fails one day. You made it easy to access the pump so that's very nice! Another question - in your experience, how long will those foam board that you used for making the boxes last in the water? I saw some people made the boxes wth acrylic sheets, but that seems much harder to cut etc.
