create your own! if you source locally you dont even have to pay for anything. I just spend some time at a creekbed and found myself some rocks and small plants growing there, took some soil and put it all in a shalow bowl and hey presto. Also growing wabi kusa just by getting some plants from near water and tying the roots up in a cotton rag filled with soil and a little clay ball. you can do this with any biome, just need to observe nature around you and recreate.

All that’s missing is some physical sound design I think. You could use a lowpassed white noise machine to help build the sound of a waterfall hitting a larger body of water as opposed to the higher pitch you currently hear. Give it a try! Easier than making a bigger reservoir or bigger piece

I have a feeling that it would look so much better if the mist maker go to the down part of the stream. Waterfalls generate mist naturally when the water hits from above with a big force and speed. So mist appears on the bottom not on the top part. :)

I don't think the stuff he buys is buyable in the USA if that is where you are. It looks like foam board with a plastic lamination, all the foam board we have here (that I can find) has paper lamination. What I am using: www.amazon.com/dp/B07BPVP1KB/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_hTbmFb8S69XXP I am in the process of building something like this myself and I am using corrugated plastic boards and hot glue to build the structure. That is turning out well. I plan to tack the structure to the glass with hot glue and then seal with silicone (silicone does not adhere well to it). I am not finished yet but I think it will work well.
