With this method I make paper mulch for making paper logs without the need for hot water, shredding or soaking.

No shredding or water needed ? Then why did you do both those things ?

Subtle difference: he tore the papers a bit and didn't fully shred them... He said or meant no "hot water" not "no water"... It was a well made video imo, but as you point out it's not much difference to me but for someone else it might be helpful.

@@tubsun He used newspapers which are a lot easier to blend up like this. Try that with document type paper - bills etc - it will be a lot more effort.

I loved the video ❤️👍 Could you maybe make another video about those paper logs? Are the for starting the fire? How long do they burn? How do they smell?

Hi, yes I'll do that I use them just for starting the fire but they could be used throughout

Would this work for dry leaves?
@flygirlfly2 жыл бұрын
No, leaves would mold and rot
@johnswimcat Жыл бұрын
Yes, I would think so. I don't think the leaves would go mouldy or rot as long as you made them into briquettes and dried them reasonably soon. Any vegetable or plant matter will work. People are making briquettes for stoves from agricultural and other "waste" all over the world, much to the chagrin of the big energy companies who want us all to be dependent on them. No doubt propaganda will be used to try to put people off making their own heating fuels. Give it a try
