Wonderful gramma and pretty sister. You all are great together in the kitchen. My daughter in law came from El Salvadore, San Salvadore and came for Christmas dinner with her parents. I read up on their food and found that they eat pupusa's that look like these, but are usually stuffed inside with cheese, and sometimes with cheese and beans, then with fermented cabbage, which they have at every meal

oooh, one time I had tortillas made this way - I don't think they were called Garnacha but they were filled with refried beans and cheese. I love masa. to my everlasting adoration. Masa tortillas and homemade refried beans. loved the cabbage idea, always have loved beans and cheese and tortillas. yum the granny and antie are winners, more videos please!

there are so many interesting foods from mexico and south america using masa in various ways. That is a very interesting spin on the tortilla/arapa that I'll have to keep in mind.
