Finally subscribed after 3 years of watching your videos with you & Gift. I have been following you since Covid. I sold my retail business in 2022 & decided to retire. I'm going to live in Bangkok for 6 months, from Aug 21st to Feb 22, 2024, to see if I want to retire in Thailand (as my home base). Plan to visit Chiang Mai & PKK for my retirement destination. I was interested in purchasing one of the Rocky Point new lots but I cannot own the land as a foreigner. Big shout out from the State of New Jersey! Hi, Joe & Gift. I enjoyed your video. That is the beauty of retirement you can change direction at will. Gifts' health is a priority and planning anything you have to take into account Gifts' health. Postponing the big trips for now seems the sensible thing to do. You already have the perfect beach house to retreat to and not too far from your home, ideal. You guys had already discussed that you didn't want kids so the thought of being unable is one less stress. Your future looks great, travel SE Asia at your leisure, or just travel Thailand where there is so much to see and do. The world is your oyster. Health is number one IMO... You're in a wonderful place and there's so much to see in Asia... When circumstances change you can foray a bit further to the EU and North America... Cards...In Germany used to spend LOTS of nights playing spades... Unending entertainment and not expensive...Highly recommend it haha... What will you charge for rent at the beach house? I'm watching still as I write this, so apology if you mentioned it... Beautiful location and should be easy to rent (I love the area from the many vids you've done there)... So glad that at least you know what's the current status with Gift's health... Permanently retired... What a beautiful couple of words! Waking up to acid reflux is the absolute worst! I had a year where I would be frequently (like once a week!) awakened by a choking/weezing/burning feeling.... I had to concentrate on breathing during those times.... And while the feelings dissipated within a minute, it still is one of the scariest feelings you can have. You feel like you're going to die! 😳 Personally after some experimentation, my issue was drinking coffee after 9pm and/or having a big tomato sauce based meal (pasta, pizza, etc) too late at night. Once I stopped doing both of those things, I rarely have that happen to me now. At any rate, I hope her acid problem is resolved!

Plenty of time in the future for extended travel ! Your new neighbors at the beach cottage look relieved and happy which ain't a bad thing these days .In any case good luck to them. Ta's working on her citizenship ( hopefully by Nov/Dec)and as usual I'm working on the house, getting it ready for sale, probably by late 2024 into spring 2025 ! Sometimes life deals us a period of time when our health is fragile. There is nothing wrong with staying close to our home, our family, our friends, and our doctors during these fragile moments of our lives. I think you and Gift made a very wise decision to delay your trip to those far away places like the EU and USA. There will be plenty of other times when you and Gift will be both in better physical and mental conditions to make those long journey to distance lands. I travel very poorly alot more planning in my life but it is possible. 15 such surgeries Gift had as I wanted kids Endometriosis is defistating whole body disease. after my partial hysterectomy I felt amazing for 8 months and the endo hit me like ton of bricks....its definitely a journeyxx

My wife has the same type of cancer. She got on a special diet and has been on the same diet for 7 years. The way you described things sounds like Gift's tumors are not cancer which is good. The diet is intermittent fasting with the first meal a green smoothie with vegan protein. Do not use any protein with isolates. Then eat dinner with low carbs and lots of veggies and only a small amount of meat. Keep the stress low. Try to not eat bread, noodles and any form of processed foods. No sugar. My wife helps other women with this health issue. Just have fun :-)
