Forza may be amazing to almost anything. but it will never catch the SPIRIT of PURE racing in our childhood Hearts THAT ALL OF US started to get involved to be in love with all cars and generally the motorsport itself. :) Gran Turismo is made out of pure passion and not just any racing game you could play.

This was so beautiful to watch (chills!) I grew up on GT, but unfortunately over the years GT has had very long development cycles. So I had to get my driving fix, by buying a Xbox one S and Forza 6 And Horizon 3. Those games are good if not for the (Cash milking) but my heart will always be with GT. And you always come back home🙏.

Actually when he was talking about physics around 5:00 mark i think it was way to literal translation. I think he had more on mind that driving is very instinctual, that our reaction based on feedback from car are very instinctual it is a bit like when you go into slide you just countersteer and the car itself also helps you apply countersteer. Same with other aspects of spirited driving. He didn't meant that the art itself is very easy because there is a lot to master, but the car is always giving you feedback what should you do be doing with your inputs.

2 things: 1. Please add road versions of all the race cars in this game, us as players love to fine tune road cars to our own specification 2. Please add proper wheel support for lower-end wheels such as the Thrustmaster T80

Because of Gran Turismo,this is why I'm driving! I purchase the first GT game in 98 when I was in 8th grade year in middle school. I didn't know what the game was about to be honest until I start playing it! I remember my TV being loud because I like the sound of the cars I was driving,I got in trouble a lot on school days playing this game late lol,cut it short,this game gave me knowledge and confidence to be behind a wheel! I learn how to drive early in my life before high school and fell in love with driving and still today because of this game! I have all games of GT and ready for GT sport! I wish I could meet this guy and shake his hand to thank him for his belief and knowledge to turn real life car driving reality into a video game reality to help people like me to learn driving knowledge and have fun while behind the wheel with confidence!

One technology that I am really excited for is HDR. This game really gets this right and adds another level of depth and realism to the game. Too bad Project Cars 2 won't have this as of this moment. Forza 7 says it will have it on PC but the lighting needs a lot of work in that game. Having played Forza 6 on PC at 4k Ultra I see how the taillights and headlights don't have realistic effects when they light up. We'll see I plan on trying all of these games out to see how they run.

Gran Turismo may not be the very best racing game of them all - surely. But it got something no other racing game has. At least not to present like in GT. Passion and Heart. Gran Turismo is the Godfather of modern racing games. It made things possible and was innovating. With GT Sport this energy will finally come back. I literally cry when I hear Moon Over The Castle. GT means emotions for every GT player from back in the days. And there are still a lot.

Gran Turismo has always been a game that you know was made with heart, soul, love, and care. It's always been a game that's perfected little by little, which is why they take so long to release. Forza was created much later than GT and they're already ahead with the number of games they spit out, but only because they make it as fast as possible, without putting a dash of love into it. I always love these documentaries about Kaz cause he's always so humble and loving and you know he puts so much effort into these games. He has so much...passion...for these games and cars.

I was absolutely in love GT on PS2. The sense of ownership I get from my cars in GT is lacking in most other racers. I remember buying a used BMW M3 in GT2, spending time upgrading, painting and racing and really feeling like it was my car. While I really enjoyed the Forza series, I've never got that same feeling I get when playing GT games. The sound design and attention to detail in GT Sport is absolutely mind blowing. I am going have to get a PS4 Pro for this one. 4K and High Dynamic Range seriously make the visuals in this game look a new level of photo realistic. I really hope GT Sports turns out to be something very special. These games sell in the tens of millions when they do it right. If they can nail the feel and control (already nailed the look and sound) I'll have no doubt it'll be another massive success.

Does Gran Turismo Sport allow you to map the positions of the G29 shifter? Project Cars for example allows you to map 3rd and 4th gear to be down/up shift. This allows the G29 shifter to operate like a sequential shift.

I don't understand why GT always gets compared to Forza. To me atleast they are two completely different games. Sure they both are racing games but Forza doesn't even come close to the quality of Gran Turismo. At this point, Forza is quantity over quality, while Gran Turismo is quality over quantity. It's always been that way. I think nowdays that people prefer quantity. Every video I see of Gran Turismo and scroll down the comments I see ''looks like a ps2 game'' and ''gt sport only has 100+ cars while forza 7 have 700!!11!''.

I fell in love with GT since it began on the PS 1 and i've been playing it since. I thought I could be a better driver but after giving Project Cars a try, I realize there's much more to learn as it beats GT in simulating driving physics. I've also tried Forza as well and while there are both great driving games, Project Cars put me back in relearning what I knew about driving. For those of you battling out as to which one is the better racing simulator, seriously give Project Cars out a try. You'd be surprised (or shocked)

Wow, it's good to hear how sounds have drastically improved! The new lightning system is not going to be easily rivaled; very stunning! Alas, environment still feel lifeless... it's sad to see they swayed away from implementing dynamic weather and time (a feature available in the 2 previous iteration btw)... when I watched what Turn10 did, puddle forming as rain starts pouring, gravel are projected here and there... it really blew my mind. GTSport is gorgeous, but fails to deliver the same "raw" experience. Anyways, good work so far, keep up Kaz!

I do have one question about Gran Tourism Sport. Will it support Triple Screen like Gran Turismo 6? I know you needed 3 Ps3s and 3 GT6 discs to do it, but since Vr isn't going to be used online I'd rather have an alternative, and save up for my "Days of Thunder".

The one problem I've always had with GT is that it's never been able to properly do car damage. Because of that, intentionally using other cars as a bumper cushion when taking a difficult corner is a winning strategy. Do that in a real race, and you're going to get yourself disqualified pretty fast. Still, I am looking forward to see what Sony has done with this one. At least until the next Grid game comes out. Not an Xbox owner, so Forza is not an option.

this is why granturismo is my favorite game, I find it the easiest to play, the cars handle realistic & does what expect them to do, it's the arcade racers & semi-sims with flawed handle model that I find hard to master. I don't get how ppl call it hard, GT3 with simulation tyres, was the hardest & what I used for challenge even racing against the AI with it on Complex String, it was Nurburgring to me before they had it. Take a crappy handling overpowered car & try to tune it to corner chomping apex predator. Driving pleasure perfected, that is the only thing I ever asked for in this world, once I realize it was a parody of what life what life was intended to be, by the Creator of the universe, My GOD. However the GT SPORT with the new agenda to make it accessible may lose that realism, that worries me, I don't expect them to get the balance right initially, as they have no equal in that department. They should create a three tier handing format for competition pro, & semi pro, then another for beginner, the good news is sportsmanship rating is universal in that format, but driver rating is independent. I can't afford those ps4 games & hardware right now, maybe ever. I'll just rummage thru the ps3 cheap library for my simulation & cross country driving with traffic, needs. I was a loyal & devoted fan of the turismo franchise, then I realize that's all it is an independent franchise of the a wide systematic network designed to blanket the market they compete, but it's all in-house Sport. GRAN-TURISMO is the daddy & the others are mirrors ForZa Hurry Son, get them all signed u, because the plan must be finished Y ? a Big events on the Horizon/. This isn't a drill it's the real thing , not a Test Drive, the budget is Unlimited & every Team have this Spatial & Awareness. In the grand scheme of things ie, Heaven Hell, Judgment day, it means nothing, & it will not distract me from the task of winning souls for GOD through JESUS his on, okay ? I'm not reloading, cause i'm never empty, the comforter he sent is, his own spirit is with me & life, death & things in between can't separate that.

Looks good. I just wish it was GT7 and not just an online racing sim. I want the full catalogue of cars, the Sunday Cup in a Miata etc etc. I want a one player experience. This, much like Project Cars, will only have a short life span for me :-(
