I covered my wheel wells with silver reflectics and tape. It was great for sound barrier and insulation. A lot of Skokie’s us it. You could double it up if you can’t find foam. A lot of people use 100% wool insulation also. It’s hypoallergenic and mold resistant and very nice in cold or heat

Great work! You may want to learn about using a drill to drive skrewd. It should have numbers around the barrel of the drill. Try it on about 6 or so. Probably it will not be powerful enough to drive the skrews in. Go up a few numbers at a time until it works and Then starts slipping inside. The main thing is you are not putting enough pressure on the drill. Put your weight into it! When it stops likes it is doing it will partially ruin the skrew head. Hope this helps! Keep up the good work

It's worth driving long enough to make sure the engine and exhaust heat up. If the exhaust, especially, doesn't heat up, water will condense in the pipes and muffler, and that will cause premature rusting.
@iamgrays2 жыл бұрын
Great work and look how far you have come. A year ago you could never have knocked up those box sections and made a bench. Then added a drawer bed slide that fits and works. A great job. It’s been said elsewhere but add an extra support part way down the slide out piece that will help it to stop twisting when you push it and bind up.

I don't usually comment from this account. I've watching your build videos and loving watching you grow and learn. In your one year video you showed the build from the back wall and showed that you had changed the bed frame. but those videos aren't in build playlist. In this video you mentioned the slider for the fridge. I haven't seen that either. I wonder if there is one or more videos that didn't make it into the build playlist or if they just don't exist. I have been watching the Schoolie build playlist so I get them all in order. I just thought I'd mention that these weren't where I thought they'd be.

Sis. Your bus is awesome, gosh you've worked so hard on it and your almost finished. Wear gloves when using Any Kind of Adhesive, tape, squeeze, drop or pour. Wear gloves. I have the same allergic reaction to adhesive. Except it goes further to my ears, neck, chest. Whatever I touch without washing my hands real good. Gloves. Surgical gloves. Cheap fix annoying but works the best.

As you attach say the end pieces into the long sections going in from the sides is fine. But since you have the pocket hole jig ready to go, if you go in backwards from the long parts into the end parts it is stronger. This is sort of what pocket holes were designed to do best. That makes the connection face grain to face grain vs face grain to end grain as you are doing. It's all looking great!
